Bookstores, libraries, and individuals automatically receive a specified number of copies of each new title in our catalog. Please ask us for details.
TAX, SHIPPING, and Handling
Tax (where relevant) and shipping costs are calculated at checkout. A $3.00 handling charge is automatically included in all shipping prices.
Our website automatically offers USPS shipping options. You will receive a tracking number within 1-2 business days of placing your order. Items shipped via Media Mail do not include insurance; please find shipping terms for Priority and Priority Express here. Please note that since March 2020, USPS shipping times have been hard to predict and we cannot promise that choosing the Media Mail option, which is the most economical USPS shipping method, will result in delivery of your order within the stated time frame (2–10 days). Most Media Mail packages are delivered within 7–10 day, but some packages have taken as long as two months. While some of our packages have been delivered much later than expected, no packages have been lost. If you are concerned about receiving your package within a certain time frame, we suggest choosing Priority or Priority Express.*If you would prefer to use FedEx or UPS, please email your order to firstname.lastname@example.org.

USPS First Class International shipments do not include insurance. Priority Mail International shipments, containing merchandise, include limited indemnity coverage against loss, damage, or missing contents; indemnity is limited to the lesser of the actual value of the contents or the maximum indemnity based on the weight of the article. Priority Mail Express International shipments containing merchandise are insured against loss, damage, and/or missing contents up to $200 at no additional charge. Any and all custom fees imposed by your local post office or government must be paid by the customer. Soberscove Press is not responsible for any packages that are returned due to unpaid custom fees or taxes imposed by non-US countries. All orders shipped to international destinations are final.
OTHER SHIPPING OPTIONS
While we are thrilled and grateful for your interest in our books and happy to ship anywhere, we encourage you to shop around for the best international shipping option, as you may well find cheaper options through online vendors who ship in bulk. We support vendors whose businesses are oriented around the sale of books. (Note: we encourage you to focus on the *independent* options on this list versus the corporations that may be able to offer cheap rates but do as at the ultimate expense of publishers’ long-term viability.) In addition to our distributor, Artbook | D.A.P, we particularly encourage you to consider checking out your local independent bookstore, bookshop.org, and international bookselling sites that support their local bookselling culture.

LOST, STOLEN, DELAYED, RETURNED, DAMAGED MAIL AND ATTEMPTED DELIVERIES
Please note that we cannot be responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, returned or damaged mail. For customers who upgrade to Priority Mail there is limited insurance (with some restrictions). In the event of damaged mail sent via USPS Priority Mail, please be sure to retain all shipping packaging and be prepared to present material to the USPS. We also cannot be responsible for attempted deliveries that result in your package being returned. Please use the supplied tracking number to stay informed about the delivery of your package. You must contact your local post office as soon as possible to reschedule any missed deliveries, or they will return the package and new shipping charges will be incurred. In the event of lost, stolen, returned or damaged mail, please find information about filing claims here.
We will refund books that are returned in perfect condition within 30 days of purchase; we can only return books that are accompanied by the original packing slip. If you would like to receive a refund on a purchase, it is necessary that you email us to get the address to which you should return the book and so that we can be on the lookout for it. We are not able to refund orders that 1.) you did not write to us about in advance, or 2.) are returned to the Ware-Pak address in Illinois from which the book was shipped, as they are unable to process returns on our behalf.
